Katie Callaghan, Editor-in-Chief
Katie was inspired to start writing back in the fourth grade when she used to write skits and perform them with classmates during lunch. She then went on to write her first news story in 8th grade and her teacher picked hers to submit to the local paper. At that point on she decided she wanted to be part of the newspaper. Besides being an editor for the Omega, Katie is on the Cross Country team. She also like to play others sports or watch Blackhawks games when she has time. Musically, she plays the piano and she likes to listen to alternative music. When she's not doing any of those things, she is usually attempting to make a lame joke or pun. In Katie's words, "Write on!"
