For the first time this year, a safety search was conducted at DGN to provide an additional layer of security to the comprehensive safety plans that District 99 has put in place.
The types of searches that were conducted today are common practice in public settings as well as schools. The searches were run by law enforcement officers and included the use of K9s lasting a total of 30 minutes.
For confidentiality reasons, the results of the search will not be publicly disclosed.
