The District 99 School Board announced that Mr. David Rose from Woodstock North High School will take over as the Associate Principal of Athletics at DGN July 1, 2024. He will be replacing Denise Kavanuagh, who is retiring after working for District 99 for 33 years.
Rose started his career at West Leyden High School, where he was a social studies teacher and football and basketball coach. He is currently the athletic director at Woodstock North High School.
“I look forward to continuing to build upon the already storied legacy at DGN, as well as the opportunity to partner with dedicated coaches and the Downers Grove North community in order to prepare student-athletes for success both on and off the field,” Rose said.
