While this year’s football season was not as long as some had wished, the student section never failed to turn heads with its cool and spirited themes. With the return of boys’ and girls’ basketball season, both teams hope that students will continue to demonstrate the same school spirit, this time by the courts.

With an N-Zone meeting held Dec. 3, N-Zone leaders and students came together to come up with fun and spirited themes for this year’s season. DGN was also picked to compete in the Student Section and Spirit Showdown , and N-Zone leader Sam Bowerman hopes to create a video to showcase the school spirit.

“It’s really exciting we will be able to compete in the showdown this year,” Bowerman said. “I hope that we can get everyone to show up for the basketball games like they did for football to show support.”
